Eiffel Tower

Timed entry to the second floor or the summit, by lift or by the stairs.

Tickets sell out weeks ahead in high season, so a timed entry or a guided climb is the simplest way to go up without queuing for hours. Choose between the second floor, which has the best view of the city, and the summit, for the height.

Good to know

  • The summit can close at short notice in strong wind or when it gets too crowded; second-floor tickets are not affected.
  • Taking the stairs to the second floor is cheaper and the queue is usually shorter.
  • Go at sunset and stay for the lights, which sparkle for a few minutes at the start of every hour after dark.
